Michele

Michele has spent her life caring for others — first as a veterinary technician for many years, then as a mother and grandmother who never stopped making things by hand. She learned early that the smallest gestures — a woven wreath, a tied bundle of dried flowers, a broom trimmed with feather and ribbon — can carry more meaning than anything bought from a shelf.

Her love of nature grew in Northern California, where she wandered creek beds and gathered wildflowers as a girl. That connection followed her north to Oregon, where she now lives among fir, fern, and fog, drying botanicals in her studio and binding them into crescent moons and besoms one piece at a time.

When she isn't crafting, Michele is happiest with family — sharing meals, stories, and slow mornings. Every wreath and besom she ties is made with that same warmth: a quiet gift, made with love, meant to linger in the corner of someone's home for years.
